J&K DGP sanctions retirement gift of Rs 53 lakh
The Director General of Police RR Swain has sanctioned a retirement gift of Rs 53 lakh in favour of 53 police personnel who are retiring from the services today after attaining superannuation or voluntary retirement.
As per a statement, among the retirees are two gazetted officers, 38 non-gazetted officers, 10 lower subordinates and three followers from different units of the police.

It said that the retirement gift of Rs 1 lakh each has been sanctioned in favour of the retiring personnel from the Contributory Police Welfare Fund.
