Harbhajan Singh pays obeisance at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi shrine

Jammu: Former Cricketer and Spinner Harbhajan Singh on Tuesday paid obeisance at Shri Vaishno Devi Mata holy shrine at Katra in Jammu’s Reasi district.
Talking to media-persons Spinner Harbhajan Singh said, “I’m here to pay obeisance and bow my head in the feet of Mata Vaishno Devi.

“I’m feeling glad that I got a chance to seek blessings of Mata Vaishno Devi. The ground was very good and the viewers were very excited because cricket match has been organised in Jammu after years.
“We enjoyed the match even we lost yesterday. We and the crowd enjoyed cricket and the viewers are very good. I couldn’t see the ball. Just do hard work and make country proud”, he added.
“When two wrestlers fight one has two see defeat and that day was not ours but our team played very well and we’re proud of them. The facilities are also so good at the MA stadium”, he remarked.
“Win and loss is a part of game and that day Australia played so well”, Harbhajan commented on Australia’s victory against Indian in Men’s World Cup 2023.
Harbhajan Singh is on a four day tour in Jammu to play Legends League Cricket T-20 at MA stadium in Jewel area of Jammu city. Singh’s team Manipal Tigers lost to Southern Super stars captained by Ross Taylor yesterday at MA Stadium Jammu.
