CEO Legends League Cricket thanked fans, administration in Jammu

Jammu: CEO Legends League Cricket Raman Raheja thanked cricket fans in Jammu, local administration, sports council and J&K police for their collaborative efforts for the arrangements so that the league matches will be held hassle free at Maulana Azad (MA) Stadium in Jammu in the coming days.

Talking to media persons, CEO Legends League Cricket Raman Raheja said, “First I would like to thank cricket fans of J&K who joined us and are showing their love.

“The players who have come with us are very glad and are thanking fans and local authorities on arriving to Jammu.

“Our six teams have come here and this is our second season of the  league in which 8 matches have been played and now in Jammu we have four scheduled matches.

“We have franchise of six teams Indian Capitals are defending champions, Gujarat Giants is owned by Gautam Adani, Southern Super stars are playing today, Manipal Tigers and Urban Risers Hyderabad are going to play in the coming days.

“People have questions what kind of milieu would be in Jammu and we have told them through social media engagement that Jammu is very welcoming.

“The cricket players are watching match in their television at homes and some players who have no scheduled match today are watching this match in their hotels.

“The people of Jammu are so eager to watch such events because it is evident by the love, support we are getting here from Sports council, J&K police, govt and LG sir.

“After 38 years an international match is being held in Jammu and this was our goal to organise matches in such place where they are held since many years.

“We are also concerned about women empowerment and former women cricketer Jhulan Nishit Goswami is also our sports ambassador and in future we will also try to organise a women cricket league here”.

 Four matches of the Legend League Cricket (LLC) Season-2 will be played  M A Stadium starting from November 27.
