Big Success: Police apprehended Hard core drug smuggler in Jammu

Jammu: A Hardcore drug smuggler apprehended by Samba police with seventy nine 79 money garlands amounting to Rs 95,880 & heroin worth of Rs 45,000 from his possession at Sarore in Bari Brahmana area of Samba yesterday. The man turned out to be a notorious burglar who had burgled cash garlands from a shop at Banihal and was wanted by Banihal police in a robbery case recently.
The nabbed hardcore drug supplier identified as Mohd Imran Khan s/o Ashraf Khan r/o Iqbal Colony Pattan Baramulla.

The accused is reportedly a burglar wanted by police at several police stations and police is in constant touch with other police stations to gather more information regarding his crimes.
The accused was arrested Samba police and they seized 79 money garlands from him on the spot and booked him under the sections of NDPS act at Bari Brahmana police station.
However, when Banihal police got news of the accused’s arrest they contacted Samba police and informed them regarding the burglary of money garlands from a shop situated at Banihal and shared CCTV footage and pictures of the accused committing theft.
