Police solves burglary case, nabbed thieves in Jammu

Jammu: Continuing their war against crime in Samba, the Police has solved a jewellery burglary case by nabbing three accused and recovering stolen gold & silver ornaments from them yesterday.

The nabbed accused were identified as Devinder Singh r/o Rakh Amb Talli, Samba, Hardeep Singh Jamwal r/o Mandi Kotli, Samba and Rakesh Kumar Verma r/o Samba.

The matter came to fore when a man Rinku Kumar Dixit s/o Sahukar Dixit r/o Uttar Pradesh A/P Rakh Amb Talli registered a theft case FIR No.281/2023 u/s 454/380 IPC at Police Station Samba through Police Post Rakh Amb Talli and a probe was initiated.

Probe is being conducted by SHO PS Samba Daljit Singh & Chowki Officer PP Rakh Amb Talli Sohail Munir under the supervision of DySP Hqrs Samba Bisham Dubey and Additional SP Samba Surinder Choudhary.

Senior Superintendent of Police Samba Benam Tosh said that a total of 150 burglars have been nabbed and 75 theft cases have been solved by Samba Police in past 10 months and stolen property worth lacs of rupees including gold/silver ornaments & cash has been recovered.
