Massive success: Police arrested hardcore drug smuggler with drugs worth crores in Jammu

Jammu: Continuing its war against drugs in Samba the police arrested a hardcore dug smuggler with drugs worth of crores in International market yesterday.
The apprehended inter-state drug peddler from Punjab was identified as Liaquat Ali alias Lucky s/o Tega r/o Kalichpur, Dinagar, district Gurdaspur of Punjab state.

As per report, the Additional SP Samba Surinder Chaudhary received inputs from his reliable sources that a notorious drug supplier has entered in the territory of J&K from Punjab carrying crores of drugs with him.
Acting on this information Additional SP Samba Surinder Chaudhary with Rajpura police team laid a naka in Rajpura and intercepted a car and during thorough checking of the vehicle’s driver recovered 600 grams of drugs valued at Rupees 4 crore rupees in International market from him. The Samba police nabbed the interstate narco smuggler on the spot booked him under NDPS act and imprisoned him at Ghagwal police station in Samba and also confiscated his vehicle used in the commission of crime.
Hardcore interstate drug smuggler was nabbed by the police team headed by Incharge District Anti-NDPSA Team Inspr Rahul Mahajan & Chowki Officer Rajpura Hardev Singh Slathia under the supervision of DySP Garu Ram.
A Special Investigation Team (SIT) has been constituted  by SSP Samba headed by Additional SP Samba Surinder Choudhary with DySP Hqrs, Senior PO Ms Gurpreet Kaur, SHO Police Station Ghagwal to probe this case in detail manner.
