Chaudhary Lal Singh received grand welcome after jail

 Jammu: Dogra Swabhiman Sangathan Party supremo and former J&K minister Chaudhary Lal Singh arrived in his home in Kathua  yesterday night to a warm welcome by hundreds of his supporters.

Singh, who was released from Ambphalla jail on  Thursday after the Principal Sessions Judge Jammu Sanjay Parihar  granted him interim bail  in a money laundering case.

Hundreds of Singh’s workers, supporters and his family accorded him a warm welcome in Kathua outside his residence.

Holding party flags and placards, they were raising slogans of ‘ Chaudhary Lal Zindabad, Dekho Dekho Kaun Aaya Sher Aaya Sher Aaya, Awaaz Do Hum Ek Hai’.

Singh, after reaching his residence held a gathering in his residence and  addressed his party workers.

On November 18, a special court had sent him to 14-day judicial custody in this money laundering case, while on November 8, a day after Singh’s arrest by ED,  he was sent to 7-day custody of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) by the court. However, on November 14, the special court extended the ED custody of Chaudhary Lal Singh by five days.
