Huge Success: Police nabbed most wanted Heroin peddler in Jammu

Jammu: Achieving another milestone of success the Samba police yesterday nabbed one of most wanted heroin peddlers involved in four cases of heroin supplying and assaults on police.
The nabbed accused was identified as Shamus Din s/o Maskeen Din r/o Rakh Barotian Vijaypur district Samba.

The hardcore heroin smuggler was arrested in case FIR No.132/2023 u/s 307, 382, 353, 332, 148, 149, 34 IPC of Police Station Vijaypur and was also indulged in four different cases of heroin supplying & assaults on police registered at PS Vijaypur and PS Samba, FIR No.33/2019 u/s 8/21/22 NDPS Act of PS Vijaypur, 108/2021 u/s 8/21/22/29 NDPS Act of PS Vijaypur, FIR No. 23/2023 u/s 8/21/22/29 NDPS Act of PS Vijaypur and FIR No. 184/2023 u/s 307, 341, 353, 332, 382, 147, 148 IPC of PS Samba.
A police team comprising of SHO Police Station Vijaypur Sandeep Charak and PSI Ankush Sharma under the supervision of SDPO Vijaypur Rohit Kumar and Additional SP Samba Surinder Choudhary apprehended the accused in Samba.
