B&J Hospital becomes functional in Jammu

The 300-bedded high-tech Bone & Joint (B&J) Hospital at Jammu has become functional on Monday.
The building of the Bone & Joint Hospital of the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H), Jammu, has made functional one of its ward which has 90 bed capacity for patients. However, only 36 beds for patients have been made available for now due to shortage of staff at the hospital. However, 2-3 patients have been admitted at Bone & Joint Hospital today when the made indoor services were made available for the public today.

There are four hundred vacant posts at the hospital which are needed to be occupied.
The work on the 300-bedded Bone & Joint Hospital at Jammu was started in February 2019, while the foundation stone of the hospital was laid on April 22, 2018.
