Girl gang-raped in Jammu

Jammu: A Girl was allegedly gang-raped in a house in Phallian Mandal area of Jammu on November 1.
According to the report, the incident happened when the victim went to his friend’s house in the night in Phallian Mandal area of Jammu on November 1 and when she reached there, the victim’s friend made her a hostage in the house and allegedly gang-raped her with 3-4 other youths. However, the matter came to light when the victim narrated the ordeal in a written complaint at Satwari police station.

The police started the investigation when she went to Satwari police station with a court order.
A case FIR. 250/2023 has been registered by Phallain Mandal police station Incharge, SI Ranjit Singh based on the victim’s written complaint at Phallian Mandal police station and a probe has been set into motion.
The police is also conducting the gang rape survivor’s medical test and they are also raiding various places in Jammu to nab the culprits.
