Jammu: Notorious bovine smuggler booked under PSA by Police
An information was received at PS Pouni regarding the presence of one notorious criminal namely Mohd Azam alias Kaka S/o Abdul Hussain R/o Kothian Teh Pouni District Reasi in the Pouni Area.
On this special police teams of PS Pouni Led by SHO PS Pouni, Inspr Purab Singh under the supervision of Dy.SP Hqrs Sh Reasi Neeraj Padyar JKPS under the overall supervision of SSP Reasi Sh Amit Gupta-JKPS raided at the suspected place and arrested the notorious criminal today.

It is pertinent to mention that a warrant under PSA vide order No. 10 of 2023 dated 10/11/2023 under section 8 (1) (A) of J&K Public Safety Act 1978 was issued against the accused by District Magistrate Reasi for maintaining public order and tranquility in the district.
The accused was also habitual of indulging in criminal activities and there were various cases such as 134/2020 US 188 IPC , 11PCA Act PS Sunderbani, 01/2021US 188 IPC , 11PCA Act, PS Sunderbani, 03/2021US 188 IPC , 11PCA Act, PS Sunderbani, 15/2021 US 188 IPC , 11PCA Act, PS Akhnoor ,63/2023 US 188 IPC , 11PCA Act PS Pouni, 01 Complaint US 107/151/110 CrPC PS Pouni registered against him at various mentioned police stations of Jammu.
After the execution of warrant today and the accused was sent to Central Jail Kot Bhalwal .
