Jammu: Massive blaze breaks out in Bank

Jammu: A fire broke out at a branch of Jammu & Kashmir Bank near Gujjar Mandi chowk of Rajouri district of Jammu yesterday evening.
According to the report, the incident took place in the evening, when a massive fire broke out inside Gujjar Mandi J&K Bank branch situated in Gujjar Mandi area of Rajouri city, following which several computer systems and other goods in the bank reduced to ash.
After the incident, the fire fighters were called on the scene and they brought the inferno under control.
“Our neighbours who live close to this bank branch came to know about the fire when they heard the fire alarm. They immediately called the fire tenders and also informed us. The inferno has damaged internet system, 4-5 computers of the bank”, a bank employee told media.
No casualty has been reported in this blaze while short circuit have been said might be reason behind the incident.
