              Jammu: 1 dead, three hurt in road accident

Jammu: A child was killed and three others injured in a ghastly mishap that happened on Friday morning in Katra area of Reasi.
According to the report, the accident happened when a group of eight Mata Vaishno Devi shrine devotees who were heading towards railway station Jammu in a Winger vehicle met with a mishap, when their car lost control and plunged into a deep gorge in Namai area of Katra, resulting in the on spot death of a 7-year-old kid and wounds to three others.
After the incident, the local residents rescued the victims from the winger and took them to Community Health Centre Katra for treatment. However, a health official of the medical facility has informed media that four people were brought to them, one was seven year old child who is dead and one who was critical has been sent to GMC Jammu for further treatment, while two among the three are stable now.
