                      Mortar shell found in Jammu

A rusted mortar shell has been found from a pond in Jammu’s Samba district by police on Thursday.
The shell was found from a pond in Jakh area of Vijaypur of Samba by local police who took it in their possession along with a bomb disposal squad to defuse the explosive substance.

The discovery of the shell is matter a probe because it is yet to be known how it landed there.
Earlier, on November 7 four loaded magazines of AK-47 was found by the police from the same pond.
