                 IED Inside Tiffin Box found in Jammu
Police yesterday claimed to have seized a tiffin box timer based Improvised Explosive Device (IED) in Jammu district.
As per sources, the police said that yesterday at around 05:30 PM, an information was received by police that some suspicious object is lying on Sidhra Narwal highway stretch in Jammu near a police checkpoint.

The police spokesman further stated that over this, police said, a team of police along with Police Component Jammu, Dog squad rushed to the spot and on search of suspicious material, it was found to be a Tiffin Box timer based IED weighing around two kilograms was found which has now been taken into possession after successful detonation.
A case under relevant sections of law have been registered in police station and further investigation is going on.
