Jammu: Posters threatening minorities found by locals

Jammu: Several posters threatening minority population of Digwar area of Poonch was found  shockingly by the locals who have alleged that they have been warned in the posters to vacate their residences or face consequences.

Sources said that the incident came to fore when several Hindus, Sikhs belonging to minority community in the Digwar area along the Line of Control (LoC) of Jammu’s  Poonch district found threatening posters sticked outside their homes warning them to leave their residences which have left the villagers in terror.

The incident has angered several villagers who had said that they are witnessing such incident for the first time in their lives since independence.

The victims have demanded that the security forces and J&K police should bring to the fore such miscreants/ terrorist sympathizers in public and must take action against them.

A probe has been initiated in this case.
