Goons allegedly open fire at house in Jammu

Jammu:  In a shocking incident, some goons allegedly opened fire at a house in Samba district of Jammu yesterday and escaped away.

As per report, the incident happened at Ward No.9 in Vijaypur area of district Samba where two armed goons with pistols came on a bike and allegedly opened at a house and fled away.

The whole act has been caught on the CCTV camera installed in the street of the house in which two masked goons can be seen coming on a motorcycle and fleeing away after opening fire at a residence.

“We were sleeping in our house then around at 1am in the night we heard gun shots we thought a gas cylinder might have exploded.

“When we came outside from our rooms we smelt something but couldn’t figured out the smell of gun shots.

“My sons also came outside and they checked the CCTV footage in which we saw two assailants firing at our house from a terrace.

“Then we discovered two gun shots holes in our door. We informed the police later about the incident and they came and started a probe.

“We want justice and those masked goons to be arrested. Police should nab them to know why they attacked us. Their bike also didn’t have a registration number.

“We have started proceedings in this matter and searches are also being conducted as per FIR u/s 370 to hunt the perpetrators”, SSP, Samba Benam Tosh told media.

However, no one has suffered any wounds in this incident.
