Jammu: Rohingya man held for making ‘Fake’ Aadhaar Card

Jammu: A Rohingya man was arrested for allegedly making fake Aadhaar and Ration cards in Poonch district of Jammu yesterday.
The report said that the matter came to fore when a Rohingya man wedded a woman namely Naseema Akhter daughter of Nazir Hussain s/o Mohd Yousaf of Dhargloon, Poonch and obtained fake Aadhar and Ration cards in his name from local authorities.

When the matter was brought to police notice then a police team of Gursai police station in Poonch arrested the accused for preparing fake documents in his name.
The accused was identified as Mohd Noman (35) s/o Mohib-Ullah r/o Myanmar.
A case under sections 420, 467, 468, 109, 120 B of IPC have been registered against him at Police station Gursai. The police has launched an investigation to nab those who issued fake documents to the man.
