Police apprehended gamblers in Jammu

Jammu: The Samba police battling against crime in Samba arrested gamblers and seized stake money from their possession yesterday.
As per sources, a police party headed by SHO Police Station Bari Brahmana Sumit Sharma, PSI Mohd Aslam and PSI Nirmal Singh under the supervision of SDPO Bari Brahmana Rahul Nagar and Additional SP Samba Surinder Choudhary raided a gambling site at Smailpur in Bari Brahmana, Samba and nabbed three gamblers while gambling and recovered stake money of Rs 3100.00, playing cards, 3 Mobile Phones and cash from their possession.

The arrested gamblers were identified as Rajinder Singh s/o Subash Singh r/o Bari Brahmama of Samba, Tarsem Singh s/o Mohinder Singh r/o RS Pura, Jammu and Tarsem Lal s/o Ghardari Lal r/o Bari Brahmana of Samba.
A case was registered at Bari Brahmana police station and the accused were booked under relevant sections of the Gambling Act.
