               Jammu: Narco peddler arrested by army

Jammu: The BSF has foiled a Nacro smuggling bid and arrested a suspected narcotic peddler along the Line of Control (LoC) in Karamada area of Poonch district of Jammu on Sunday.
As per sources, the incident took place late night on September 23 when BSF guarding the LoC noticed suspicious movement of a person at Karmada in Gulpur area of Poonch and challenged him. However, when the suspected narco supplier tried to flee across the LoC the alert Indian army opened fire at him, following which he suffered injuries.

After the incident, the smuggler was taken to Raja Sukhdev Hospital Poonch but later referred to GMC Rajouri where he is receiving treatment.
The nabbed and injured drug smuggler has been identified as Yasir Hussain s/o Nasir Hussain r/o Karmada of Poonch district.
The army has cordoned off the whole area and a search is on.
