Police arrested Hooligans in Jammu

Jammu: Samba Police on Saturday registered a case under the Arms Act against two hooligans for possessing sharp-edged-weapons (Toka) in different areas of Samba.
As per sources, the Samba police nabbed two hooligans for possessing and brandishing sharp-edged-weapons (Toka) at two public areas of Samba district.

The apprehended hooligans have been identified as Vikas Sharma s/o Tilak Raj r/o Dilhani tehsil Bishnah of Jammu and Abhi Kumar alias Abi s/o Karam Chand r/o Joian tehsil Arnia of Jammu.
Two cases FIR No. 131/2023 U/S 4/25 Arms Act and FIR No. 130/2023 u/s 4/25 Arms Act have been registered at Police Station Vijaypur and a probe has been in motion.
The first accused Vikas has been nabbed while possessing and brandishing sharp-edged-weapon (‘Toka’) at a Jagrata organised by people at Jakh, while the second accused Abhi has been nabbed while possessing and brandishing ‘Toka’ at Rakh Barotian Vijaypur.
The arrests were made by Police team comprising of SHO Vijaypur Sandeep Charak, PSI Sohail Munir and ASI Kulbir Chand under the supervision of SDPO Vjaypur Rohit Kumar and Additional SP Samba Surinder Choudhary.
