          J&K: Encounter breaks out, soldiers injured

An encounter broke out between terrorists and security forces in Kokernag area of Kashmir’s Anantnag district this afternoon.
As per sources, an encounter has broken out in Kokernag area of Anantnag between security forces and terrorists, in which army officers, and J&K police personnel has suffered injuries. The gun fight is still going on.

“Encounter has started in #Kokernag area of #Anantnag. Officers from Army and JKP injured. Details shall follow, Kashmir Police said on X.
Earlier, in Narla area of Kalakote of Rajouri district a second terrorist was gunned by the Indian army, while two soldiers and a SPO suffered wounds in the encounter and a Soldier attained martyrdom along with an Army Dog.
