Devotional: Elderly man walking on foot to Holy Vaishno Mata Shrine

Jammu: Mansukh Lal Vishwakarma, of Madhya Pradesh’s Sagar District, who embarked on the pilgrimage three months ago yesterday reached in Jammu to have darshan of Vaishno Mata Shrine in Katra, Reasi.

A 75-year-old devotee, who has been walking since three months on foot and has covered thousands of kms distance to pay his respects at the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine in Katra, will soon be able to the seek blessings of the Vaishno Mata in a week.

Speaking to the media, Mr Mansukh Lal Vishwakarma, said, “I didn’t prayed to Vaishno Mata for anything I’m just going there just for happiness.

“It will take one week more for me to reach to the shrine. I haven’t faced any obstacles, troubles in my journey because Vaishno Mata’s blessings are with me.

“I travel 15-20km everyday and stay in a temple then next day I continue my excursion. This is my 37th turn of going to the Yatra.

“Vaishno Mata calls me and I go to her shrine to pay my respects. I have never used any vehicle during my excursion”.
