                Three held in gang-rape case in Jammu

Jammu: The Samba police has arrested three people allegedly in a gang-rape case of a minor in Ramgarh area of Samba district yesterday.
All the accused arrested were identified as Suresh Kumar alias Babbu s/o Daljeet Singh, Karan Deep Singh alias Bunty S/o Swaran Singh, Pankaj Targotra s/o Ajit Paul all resident of Tehsil Ramgarh of district Samba.
The police registered the case against the accused under sections 457/363/376/ (d) of Indian Penal Code (IPC) and 3/4 of POSCO act.
The accused were arrested by the Investigating Officer Sham Lal under the supervision of SDPO Vijaypur Rohit Kumar and Additional SP Samba Surinder Choudhary.
The Samba police acting swiftly apprehended the accused with twenty hours.
SSP Samba, Benam Tosh has said that the crime against women, girls will not be tolerated and the culprits will be dealt harshly.
