                     J&K: PDP constitutes zonal body
The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has constituted its zonal committee for Sopore Constituency on Monday.
According to a media report the committee was formed at a meeting chaired by Spokesperson J&K Mohd Rafeeq Rather, District President Srinagar Abdul Qayum Bhat, District President Baramullah Jalal U Din Peer, Irfan Ali Constituency incharge and District Youth President Baramullah and organised by constituency incharge Peer Arshid Hussain.
State secretary Haji Gh Rasool Mir was the guest of the occasion and constituency District Secretary Adv Inayat and Mir Intikhaab organiser were the observers of the election.
After hectic deliberations and the process of election unanimously Peer Arshid Hussain was declared as Zonal President Sopore Constituency and Imtiyaz Ahmad Ganaie were elected as Secretary of the zone.
All other zonal office bearers and members of the zone were declared on the spot and district President along with constituency incharge stamped the election process and thanked all the party workers, guests and observers who participated in the election process.
