Jammu: Army porter injured in blast

Jammu: An army porter was injured in a landmine blast near Line of Control in Poonch’s Swajian area on Saturday.

As per sources, the incident happened when the victim was coming back to Molvi Dhok from Swajian in Poonch along with his three horses then suddenly a blast occurred in a mine there resulting in injuries to the man and his animals.

After the incident the locals people and army rescued the man and took him to hospital for the treatment.

The wounded porter has been identified as Mukhtar Ahmad (24) s/o Muhammad Saleem r/o  Gagrian, Poonch was shifted to the sub-district hospital Mandi for treatment. Along with him three horses have also suffered injuries who are still missing.
