Police files chargesheet against criminal in Jammu

Jammu: In a huge success, Samba Police yesterday filed a chargesheet against a criminal namely Parveen in attempt to Murder case in Samba yesterday.

According to police sources, a written complaint was received at Police Station Samba from a man namely Krishan Lal s/o Falo Ram r/o Mananu village of Samba, who alleged that on July 7 2020 his brother namely Sukhdev Raj, while on his way to home was wrongfully stopped and assaulted with a sharp-edged weapon (‘Toka’) by one Parveen Kumar with the intention to kill the victim.

The  arrested accused has been identified as been identified as Parveen Kumar s/o Kullu Ram r/o Mananu village of Samba.

Acting upon the complaint, the Samba police launched a probe and nabbed the accused.

A case FIR No.189/2020 u/s 341,323,307 IPC, 4/25 Arms Act was registered at Police Station Samba.

The probe of the case was conducted under the supervision of SHO Police Station Samba Rajeshwar Singh, DySP Garu Ram and Additional SP Samba Surinder Choudhary.
