Police files chargesheet against top women smugglers in Jammu

Jammu: Samba Police on Thursday filed a chargesheet against top women smugglers who were running illicit network of narco smuggling in Samba and who used to supply white venom in many districts of Jammu and Kashmir.

As per sources, the Samba police raided the hideouts of the two woman narco suppliers at  Balole Nallah Bari Brahmana when they got inputs from their reliable resources but on hearing about police raids, the accused women metamorphosed their modus operandi and began trafficking drugs in the midnight but after strenuous efforts the Samba police nabbed the two notorious woman drug suppliers.

The woman drug suppliers have been identified as Noori w/o Wali Mohd alias Gulla r/o Balole Nallah Bari Brahmana, Samba and Juna Bibi alias Tuna w/o Abdul Rashid alias Bagu r/o Balole Nallah Bari Brahmana, Samba. They  used to supply heroin to the drug smugglers and individual addicts of Samba, Jammu, Udhampur, Kathua, Reasi, Rajouri, Poonch, Doda, Ramban, Kishtwar and Kashmir region also.

The accused were arrested by SHO Bari Brahmana Sunil Sharma under the supervision of SDPO Bari Brahmana Rahul Nagar and Addl. SP Samba Surinder Choudhary.

The Samba police has said that during the course of probe, it came to fore that Noori and Tuna were also involved in abetting, conspiring harbouring and financing illegal narco-smuggling.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Samba Benam Tosh said that the Samba policed has apprehended 13 women heroin smugglers so far, while some more women smugglers are wanted in NDPS cases and they would be nabbed shortly.
