Girl Allegedly commits Suicide after Boyfriend Refuses to marry her in Jammu

Jammu: A 17-year-old girl namely Siya allegedly committed suicide after her boyfriend refused to marry her in Janipur’s Shivalik area last night yesterday.
As per report, the matter came to light when the deceased’s sister saw her sister hanged in her room and informed others.
“My daughter’s in-laws called us in the morning at around 10am because her mother-in-law was unwell and she needed to be hospitalised.
“Then she came back home at 7:30pm and apprised me that she had some argument with her fiance. My daughter’s fiance again called my daughter and disrespected us and told her that he didn’t want to marry her.
“My daughter told him if he don’t want to marry her then why he used to call her to meet.
“I went to shop and when I came back my elder daughter apprised me that her younger sister has committed suicide.
“My elder daughter called a boy and he broke the door and took down my hanged daughter”, Father of the victim girl said.
“I want justice for my sister because he has done wrong. My sister used to go with him to Bawe Mata temple every Tuesday.
“Her fiance called me and said that your sister has left me saying she demanded Rs 1000 and when he couldn’t gave her she left.
“When I asked my sister Siya she told me that her fiance has apprised her that he don’t want to marry her.
“He used to call my sister whole day and even after that he used to suspect my brother’s friend saying that Siya has soft corner for them.
“We want a police case against my sister’s fiance”, Elder sister of the victim allegedly said.
