University Institute of Engineering and Technology (UIET), Kathua Campus (JU) organised a Campus Placement Drive to provide employment opportunities to the students of Computer Science and Management. The drive was conducted by Code Garage Tech Pvt. Ltd., a leading technology company headquartered in Chandigarh. Mr. Mehakpal Singh (Chief Executive Officer), Mr. Ankush Mahajan (Chief Technological Officer), Mr. Dixit Tiwari (Team Lead/Sr. Software Engineer), and Mr. Shubham Dhasmana (Software Engineer) from Code Garage Tech Pvt. Ltd. Chandigarh conducted the interviews of the students.

The placement drive aimed to identify and recruit exceptional talent from the B.Tech/M.Tech/BCA/MCA/MBA student pool, targeting two prominent roles including Software Engineers and Business Development Executives. The placement drive witnessed enthusiastic participation from the students of UIET, MCA (Kathua Campus), MBSCET, GDC Kathua, Chandigarh University, SAI College of Engineering and Technology and Bhargava College of Engineering and Technology.

The selection process encompassed technical assessments, problem-solving challenges, and in-depth interviews to identify individuals poised to shape the future of technology. Mr. Bobby Sharma, Ms. Samridhi Gupta, Mr. Vinaydeep Kaushal, Mr. Nadeem Tahir and Ms. Phalguni Sambyal secured coveted positions in both the Software Engineering and Business Development domains at Code Garage Tech Pvt. Ltd., Chandigarh.

Dr. Meenakshi Kilam, Rector, Kathua Campus, University of Jammu in her message appreciated the efforts of faculty of UIET for conducting the impactful placement drive for the students. She stressed that such collaboration bridges the gap between academia and industry, enabling the students to embark on promising careers. She further added that the drive reflects the commitment of Campus in nurturing the next generation of tech innovators and leaders. Dr. Kilam congratulated the selected candidates and wished them success in their future endeavours.

Arjun Kapoor, Dr. Sunny Sharma, Dr. Zahin Ansari, Ms. Ritika Goyal, Mr. Pranav Ratta, Ms. Kamakshi and other teaching and non-teaching staff members of the campus were also present during the placement drive.
