Magic of self love !
Gracy Anand
“ My partner doesn’t love me’’- we hear this often , Right ? Before digging in for the reason.
Answer this question –
Do you even love yourself enough that you could love someone else ?
The reason for above statement is just lacking self love .
Even to adore someone , we first need to adore ourselves.
We’re living in an era where the self love is gaining momentum, yet we have trouble doing the work ; We were never taught self-love in school, and most of us didn’t learn about self-love in our homes.
So what did we learn?
We learned to put others first. We learned the importance of success. We learned to work hard and make money. But we didn’t learn how to keep ourselves feeling fueled for that journey.
Self-love is our fuel; it’s the foundation for who we are. Everything builds on top of this foundation, and if it isn’t solid, life feels shaky.
The moment we start loving ourselves, we experience shifts—positive shifts. Life begins to move forward with more ease and things begin to magically fall into place. Relationships improve. Health improves.
Why is self-love important?
Self-love is important because it motivates much of our positive behavior while reducing harmful behavior. It both empowers us to take risks and to say no to things that don’t work for us. It’s a key component of building self-compassion
Let’s understand , how we can develop self love –
1. Increase ME time – Spend more time with yourself , observe yourself and understand yourself .
Self-love is all about identifying your needs and making them a priority in your life. It’s about doing what truly feels right for you.
2. Prioritize your needs – Understand your needs and remove all toxicity from life .
3. Stop self sabotaging – Know which all things hurt you , don’t let them even come an inch close . Block them from sabotaging your peace and happiness .
4. Set Loving Boundaries
As your self-love expands, so will your ability to identify what is and isn’t good for you. Simply put, the more you love yourself, the less you’ll tolerate being treated like crap. You’ll gain the clarity you need to understand what you will and will not accept in your life.
**You may read many self loves books too. ***
Thing to remember is that self love is a skill, which can be developed and polished till the end of our lives .
There’s always time to forget about a baggage of past events and start afresh .
Now, its your turn !
Start adoring yourself !
Time to shine !
