        Man succumbed to wounds due to Road accident in Jammu

Jammu: A man yesterday succumbed to his wounds who met with a road accident on 10th August near Viraj Sarovar Portico Hotel situated near Purmandal area of Samba in Jammu.
The report said that the accident happened when the victim was crossing the road in the mentioned place then a speeding bike (DL5SC8743) hit the victim on the road and sped away leaving him badly hurt at the scene of incident. After the accident, traffic police and local people rushed the victim to GMC Jammu where he succumbed to his injuries during the treatment there.

The deceased has been identified as Sourav r/o of ward no.7 of Teli Basti, Bari Brahmana, Jammu, who is survived by a mother and father, sisters, the report said.
The Samba police has registered an FIR in this case against the accused who is at large.
