                       J&K: Absconder evading arrest from years nabbed by police

J&K: District Police Reasi apprehended a absconder, who was evading arrest since 2021. The absconder namely Mohd. Sadiq S/o Mohd. Rashid R/o Laiter Tehsil Pouni, Distt Reasi was absconding since 2021 in case FIR No. 74/2021 U/S 457/380/34 IPC of Police Station Pouni who has been arrested by Police party of P/S Pouni on Tuesday.

The arrest was made by a team led by SHO Pouni, Insp. Purab Singh under the supervision of DySP HQ Reasi, Neeraj Padyar- JKPS.

The accused was used to  evade arrest by disguising and changing locations and couldn’t be apprehended since registration of Case FIR against him.

During investigation  the case was proved & chargesheet produced against him in court of law in the year 2021 after which Hon’ble Court of Additional Special Mobile Magistrate Reasi issued a General Warrant of arrest against him.

District Police Reasi has resolved to leave no stone unturned to put hardcore & long absconding criminals to justice by arresting & producing them before respective Hon’ble courts for judicial determination of their cases, trial under laid down procedure of the law of the land.
