               Man died after being hit by train in Jammu

Jammu: In a sad incident, a man died after being hit by a train in Bari Brahmana area of Samba yesterday.
The deceased has been identified as Ranjan Pandit s/o Sonu Pandit r/o Lower Birpur of Bari Brahmana.

The victim came under an approaching train and the impact of the collision was so severe that the person died on the spot, the report said.
Upon receiving information about the incident, the railway police rushed to the spot and retrieved the body. The body of the victim was sent for post-mortem and will be handed over to the deceased’s family for the final rites after autopsy’s completion.
