Jammu: Man escaped death in incident

Jammu: A man allegedly escapes death by the Chinese manjha (glass-coated kite string) when he was going on his vehicle in Katra area of Reasi district yesterday.
As per report, the incident took place when the victim namely Sunil Thapa was going on a scooty near Bhumika temple and heading towards Katra, when his neck came in contact with a sharp thread which slightly grazed his neck.

However, the victim has sustained no wounds due to the kite string but if he had sped up the sharp thread could have proved deadly for him.
“These strings should be a banned in the market here”, a local man said.
