Locals allege man dumped by police vehicle in Jammu

Jammu: In a shocking incident, some locals last night alleged that a tied up man was dumped on the road by a police vehicle near secretariat in Pakki Dhaki of Jammu city.
According to the report, the incident came to light when a man living in a rented shack nearby by the road saw policemen throwing the tied up man from a police jeep and escaping from the spot.

“He is alive but his hands were tied. We were going from here in our vehicle some locals were standing here”, a local man said.
“We have heard from the locals that a police jeep has dumped the man here. I don’t know about the man but the police has taken him away now.
“They can tell more about it. He is a non-local person”, another man said.
“The police personnel misbehaved with us here. They told us we can’t touch the man how can we if you’re telling us not to.
“We are just standing here on the road. It’s not our job to take up the man”, one of the man said.
“One police jeep has dumped the man here and the other came and took him away”, a man said.
“I live here on rent it was a yellow jeep. The police man dumped the man in front my eyes”, the shack tenant told media.
“It seems as if someone has thrashed him if we look at the picture”, a man added.
“We called police and they have taken the man to hospital. But we don’t where they have carried him away as we don’t know”, a man claimed.
“We have seen four men in police uniform in inebriated condition in a yellow police jeep who dumped the man on the road here.
“The man was crying his one hand was plastered and hearing his voice we came outside and saw him”, another shack tenant said.
