J&K: Soldier goes missing, search operation launched
A soldier’s family has claimed that their family member was abducted after he went missing on Saturday. A massive search and cordon operation has been launched by the Indian Army and police to trace the kidnapped soldier.
The 25-year-old soldier, who had come back home on leave was kidnapped from his vehicle in Kashmir’s Kulgam district, his family claimed.
He has been identified as Javed Ahmad Wani, an Indian Army personnel, who was reportedly posted in Ladakh’s Leh district and went missing around 8 pm on Saturday.
Police has also claimed that blood was also found in the victim’s car.
