 Several Gamblers held by police in J&K
The police yesterday arrested five Gamblers from Ningli area of Baramulla district and recovered stake money worth Rs 22500 from them.
As per sources, a Police party of Tarzoo at about 1900 hours received information about presence of gamblers at Ningli Nursery.
Acting upon the information Police party of Police Station Tarzoo rushed towards the spot and on noticing the police party the gamblers tried to flee from the spot, but the alert police party chased them and apprehended them tactfully.
The arrested gamblers were identified as Ishfaq Ahmad Malla S/O Ghulam Nabi R/O Mahrajpora Sopore, Abdul Rashid Malik S/O Muhammad Sultan R/O Dogliteng Sopore, Javaid Ahmad Khanday S/O Ghulam Mohiudin R/O Mahrajpora Sopore, Shahzad Ahmad Shah S/O Nazir Ahmad R/O Tulibal Sopore and Sajad Ahmad Parray S/O Ghulam Muh.
Police has registered a case against them.
