In a press statement issued today, AAP Youth Leader and Provincial Secretary Youth Wing Muktesh Yogi has made a sincere appeal to the LG administration of Jammu and Kashmir to accelerate the process of filling up vacant posts in all government departments.
“The government’s claims of fairness and transparency are shrouded in doubt,” Yogi said. “The Youth of this Union Territory have been the worst victims of multiple recruitment scams under the incumbent administration, which have resulted in the cancellation of several recruitment exams. The LG administration cannot disown its responsibility for having failed to ensure fair, transparent, and timely exams and completion of recruitment processes, leaving the youth with a bleak future.”
Yogi pointed out that unemployment is at an all-time high in Jammu and Kashmir, and that there are not enough private job opportunities for young people to pursue.
“Addressing the issue of vacant government positions is urgent,” Yogi said. This is essential for the effective functioning of various departments. I urge the LG administration to prioritize fast-track recruitment processes that ensure the timely appointment of qualified candidates with complete transparency. Other vacant positions should be advertised as soon as possible for the benefit of the youth of J&K.”
