Jammu: Singer Sukhwinder Singh has arrived in the city of sanctums in Jammu on Tuesday who is somebody that is known for his cult songs in the Bollywood industry ever since he made his debut in the Hindi showbiz.
The bollywood fame spotted in Rasalika Sweets & Bakery with JK Media’s riveting senior Journalist Mr Ashish Kohli relishing the delicacies presented by the restaurant.
Relishing the Bristo’s delicacy, the Chaiyya Chaiyya singer expressed affection for Jammu city and said he has fallen in love with Dograland and remarked on his friendship with the Manging director of the popular food hub, Mr Panjak Chopra.
Showing fondness with Rasalika restaurant, the Ramta Jogi singer, added,” Rasalika is such a stop here which takes us to Vaishno Devi.
“Rasalika is such a place where you get all the delicious food items but which appears bland in front of its owner’s love”, Mr Sukhwider Singh said.
“I had no such plan to visit Vaishno Devi shrine but last night around at 10:30-10:45 I remembered when I was talking to somebody that someone might have been in such situation, where a person might have not been well with their mother. But in our heart we all know that one can’t live without a mother”, he further said.
“Mothers are our biggest well wishers and they always care for our well being. Last time I was invited at the holy shrine to sing when corona lockdown was improving. It was my fortune this is my achievement and I’m collecting it.
“We decided in the night then booked a flight and came here in the morning. I pray Vaishno Mata Devi bless everyone.
“When I was in the flight as I closed my eyes I dreamt of sumptuous delicacies of Rasalika and Chopra saab’s warmth”. he continued.
Lauding the efforts of local authorities and expressing his devotion towards Mata Vaishno Devi shrine, the Jai Ho singer, said,” I have never confronted such a odd situation in my life where I have performed in such circumstances and left with complete satisfaction which shows the identity of an artist”.
“The CEO SMVD Shrine Board Ramesh Kumar and other officials of local authorities apprised me that the festival will be for three days and asked me on which day I would like to perform.
“I told them on Sunday I will perform. I was with my team of artists and willing to perform in Jammu at such a big stage.
“I have never seen such a beautiful stage anywhere which was well decorated. This was a eccentric experience for me because on that day HM Amit Shah’s rally, Indo-Pak match, torrents, all was happening simultaneously on the same day.
“My venue was also changed so I thought let it be as I have Mata Vaishno Devi’s blessing and immense love of Jammu people.
“I wish Jammu and Kashmir to prosperous.” he limned.
Lastly the interview ended with Mr Sukhwinder Singh’s utterance whic is also shouted with devotion by the devotees “jaikara sherawali da bol sache darbar ki jai”.
