Rohingyas pelted stones at police in Jammu

Jammu: A ruckus allegedly broke out at Rohingya prisoners lodged in Holding Centre at Hiranagar Sub Jail in Kathua district on Tuesday after the Rohingyas prisoners pelted stones at police and CPRF personnel deployed there, creating a pandemonium demanding their immediate release from the jail.
As per report, hundreds of Rohingyas prisoners incarcerated in holding Centre at Hiranagar Sub Jail in Kathua created a ruckus demanding the jail authorities immediate freedom the detention.

As the ruckus intensified more CRPF soldiers and police deployed at the centre which reportedly answered with stone pelting and tear gas shells against the Rohingyas, who first started stone pelting at them.
However, the Rohingyas have said that they have refugee documents with them and on which basis they should be released without much ado.
The incarcerated Rohingyas prisoners have also been charged with henious crimes. Pertinent to mention here is that several of them have been freed from the centre and several are still waiting their final call of action by the union govt.
