Jammu: Continuing its efforts to eradicate the menace of drugs from the society Surankote Police today carried out an operation and destroyed wild cannabis in Potha, Samote, Draba, Sanai, Dhundak Lassana area of Tehsil Surankote District Poonch.
SHO Surankote Inspector Rajveer Singh carried out the operation under supervision of DySP Surankote Hamid Ali Banday and Additional Superintendent of Police Poonch Mushim Ahmed on directions of SSP Poonch Vinay Kumar Sharma who has taken a pledge to eradicate all kind of Drugs , Narcotic and Psychotropic Substance from District Poonch and make Poonch a Nasha Mukt District.

Special drives are carried out in Whole District Poonch and Public is appreciating efforts of District Police Poonch in Eradication of evils from Society.
The police were seen uprooting wild cannabis grown all the roads in Poonch to avert its usage by the addicts in the area.
