Youth dies of ‘drug overdose’ in Jammu

Jammu: A youth has died of alleged drug overdose in a hotel room in Jammu last night.
According to the report, two Kashmiri youths had rented a room in MC Dollar hotel of Gujjar Nagar area of Jammu and the matter came to forth, when one of them found lying dead in the hotel’s room where he was staying by the hotel staff. However, the deceased’s friend who was staying with him in the hotel, went missing after his death.

An FIR has been registered in this case and the police is looking for the deceased’s absconding friend.
The police has also launched a probe in this case.
The is the same hotel which has been in the news for quite a time for alleged sex racket, drug trade and so on. Recently, Bagh-e-Bahu PS SHO Arti Thakur faced misconducted by mentioned hotel owner and its staff, who went there with her police team to paste a notice issued by DC Jammu Avny Lavasa against the hotel, the report said.
The identity of the youth is yet to be ascertain.
