Police arrests House owners after failing to provide info in Jammu

Jammu: The Samba Police on Saturday arrested four house owners in Samba district of Jammu for failing to  provide information about their tenants to police.

According to the report, the arrests were made by Bari Brahmana police on basis of recently issued order by DC Samba Abhishek Sharma that said that the House, Jhuggi, industrial units owners, who have kept tenants and helpers in their establishments to  inform them about concerned police stations along with their details failing which they will be nabbed.

The accused have been identified as Ghulam Nabi s/o Sultan r/o  Teli Basti of Bari Brahmana, Maqbool Hussain s/o Mohd Hussain r/o Teli Basti, Bari Brahmana, Abdul Rashid s/o Jagdeen r/o  Teli Basti, Bari Brahmana and Tarvinder Singh r/o Dayal Singh r/o old Satwari at present, Teli Basti of Bari Brahmana of Samba, Jammu.

The police has registered four different FIRs against the culprits under Section 144 RPC at  Bari Brahmana Police station and started an investigation.

The mandatory details of the tenants and their owners has been asked to provide to their concerned police stations by the local authorities disobeying which will attract legal action.

The arrests were made by  SHO Bari Brahmana Sunil Sharma headed by SDPO Rahul Nagar under the supervision of Addl. SP Surinder Chaudhary.
