  The Great Tomato Robbery: Tomato-loaded truck looted as price shot up

Karnataka: There are countless robbery incidents that have been reported in India and world wide but a very rare burglary incident have come to the fore in which a Tomato-loaded truck was ransacked by thieves in Bengaluru.
According to the report, the theft happened when three burglars robbed a 200 tonnes Tomato laden truck of worth rupees 2.7 lakh from a farm land of Belur taluk area in Bengaluru city of Karnataka state, after which they ran away.
The police is looking for the burglars and have registered a case.
The encouragement behind this robbery is the exorbitant price of tomatoes these days.
