“We are compelled to come on roads as this big hospital building is bereft of doctors”, one of the dissenter said.

“We have been demanding doctors from past 10-12 years otherwise we would have not held this protest.

“This is agitation is to awake the masses and authorities”, another protestor said.

“An ailing man who required surgical operation came in this hospital 15 days ago. When we went to Doctor Vinod who was on duty.

“He said that the Surgeon is on leave and come some other day, then I asked him there should be another one in his absence.

“He apprised me to leave and tell whosoever you want. I have also got witnesses. He told me to go and tell ADC sir.

“Only those who unwell they go to hospitals not everyone”, another agitator said.

“We belong to a hilly area and in this rainy season when land slides are occurring, roads are getting blocked.

“In such scenario we are only left with CHC Basholi in medical emergency. The govt should appoint more doctors in such season.

“We have no doctors here and dogs seen sitting here recently. This hospital is only here to refer patients”, a dissenter alleged said.
