Army personnel on Thursday saved the precious life of a 23-year-old boy named Shubham Langer, a resident of Jammu. He promptly responded to an SOS call from local residents who had spotted the young boy drowning in the river.

According to official sources, on Thursday morning around 5:30 AM, without wasting any time, the army personnel courageously jumped into the river and successfully rescued the boy. Subsequently, he was taken to a local hospital where he was declared to be in good health and was discharged. Local residents shared that the boy had come to the Chenab river for some religious rituals when he accidentally slipped into the water.
