         Family asks for help after boy injured in incident in Jammu

Jammu: In a tragic incident, a 15-year-old fell in a pit and received grave injuries after monkeys chased him in Mubarak Mandi area of Jammu yesterday. However, the boy’s family has appealed for help from locals in Jammu as they’re financially strapped and can’t manage the whole expense of treatment by themselves in Amritsar, where the boy is awaiting treatment due to lack of money.
According to the report, the incident happened when the boy namely Chaitanya Badan went to play in Mubarak Mandi area and fell in a pit when some monkeys ran after him, following which he suffered serious wounds.

After the incident, the boy was rushed to a hospital in Jammu but later was referred to Amritsar in Punjab for further treatment.

“We were there monkeys ran after us and a ditch came and he fell in it. We saw blood strewn everywhere and took him home”, a boy said.
“Our child is very serious and we need help his father can’t manage treatment expenditure alone.
“We appeal locals to help us he needs 5-6 lakhs for help. We have no one to help”, said Ms Nisha, the victim’s mother’s sister.
“His face is damaged badly we require little help so that his future can be saved”, another woman relative of the victim appealed.
“He is not being operated as fee must have to be submitted first in the hospital in Amritsar. We left Jammu at 3 and reached there at 7 but our turn is not coming” a woman relative said.
“He is going through intense pain and have been struggling”, one of the victim’s woman sibling said.
“I just want my brother to be well. I told him to not go he is not speaking now. We just want help and nothing”, Victim’s sister said.
