                   Man jumped into river in J&K

An unknown person jumped into the river Jhelum near the Qamarwari river in Srinagar on Wednesday.
According to the report, the incident happened at around 7am when jumped into Jhelum river from cement bridge in Qamarwari of Srinagar.

After the incident, the SDRF and Srinagar police launched a search operation to trace the victim’s body, which is still going on.

However, the identity of the victim is yet to be ascertain, while some local has said that the person was an elderly man from Barzulla area of Srinagar, the report said.
