Woman, son duo arrested for thefts in Jammu

Jammu: The Jammu police has arrested a woman and her son for mobile phone thefts worth around Rs 15-16 lakh in Narwal area of Jammu yesterday.
According to the report, the Narwal police conducted a police team which comprised of SDPO Jammu East Syed Zaheer Abbas Zafri, SHO Bahu Fort, Insp Shiv Dev Singh, Insp police post Narwal, SI Lalit Sharma and after poring CCTV cameras of the area and receiving complaints based on mobile burglaries, swung into action and nabbed the mother-son duo from Narwal and recovered stolen mobile phones from them worth of Rs 15-16 lakh.

The accused have been identified as Shakeela Devi w/o Antish Kumar r/o Rajeev Nagar of Jammu and her son Vinay Kumar.

In the police interrogation the duo confessed their crime to the Narwal police.
